Workshops + Happenings

Women’s Circle, w/ Danielle Arias (Nourish + Nature), Sunday Sept 7th 11:00AM-12:30PM

In Circle we hold space for each other's dreams, celebrate and cry together, hold space and truly hear one another, learn from each other (things our mothers maybe didn't teach us), heal and RISE. Circle will happen the first Sunday each month, would love to see you there.

If we honor time to nourish ourselves and connect with other women, we will feel inspired and regain energy and purpose to uplift our loved ones and strengthen our community.
By sharing stories we learn about ourselves and gain clarity on important values, big questions and everyday actions in our lives.
We want to hear your story.
We are here to hold space for you.
Join us in reclaiming sisterhood.

Sacred Breath w/ Michelle Townsend and Hannah Higgins, Sunday Sept 14th, 5-7PM

Our breath is our main life source and yet so many of us are breathing unconsciously and not accessing its full potential.
In this intro to breath awareness workshop we will learn about different breath patterns and how to breathe to promote health, deep healing and personal growth.
Though conscious connected breathing, you can gain access to release emotional blockages, suppressed emotions, process store stress, and reconnect to your inner self.
By holding a sacred container and thru gentle facilitation, we hope to provide a safe and supportive space that encourages clarity, self-awareness, and a profound sense of freedom and renewal.

Fall Equinox Flow w/ Angie Capilli + Erin Quinn, Saturday Sept 20th, 6:30-8:00PM

Join Angie and Erin for an evening of celebrating the harvest of the summer and embracing the magic of fall. The Fall Equinox invites us to shift from doing and embrace being, to honor the transition from light into shadow, and to slow down in order to contemplate the integration of the fruits of our labor to best support our growth moving forward. We will set intentions for this new season, offer space for sharing, move through a yoga flow that embraces the shadow aspects of autumn, experience optional hands-on adjustments, receive a guided meditation, and complete the evening with an energy cleansing sound bath savasana. Invite yourself inward to begin this season settled into the cozy, contemplative space of your being. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of practitioner, please bring a journal and writing tool with you and your favorite tea cup.

Intro to Vinyasa w/ Gonca Tabanli, Saturday Sept 27th 11:00AM-12:30PM

Whether you're brand new to yoga or just looking to refresh your practice, Intro to Vinyasa is a workshop for you.

We will go through Sun Salutations, a sequence of 12 powerful yoga asanas (postures) which are a good way to keep the body in shape and the mind calm and healthy.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:
• The fundamentals of yoga poses, including alignment and breath work.
• The series itself and how to modify it for your body
• How to flow with the breath & work with your gaze (drishti) to find meditation in motion

Mapping the Body: an Introduction to Katonah Yoga w/ Laura Genton, Sun Sept 28th 12:00-2:00PM

Human bodies come in all shapes and sizes, yet we all conform to roughly the same proportions. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use your own body as a tool of measurement to find alignment in each pose, so you never have to guess again. This training will not only uncover the limitations and imbalances in your body but will offer tools to address them as well. This style of yoga was founded by Nevine Michaan in New York, and is heavily influenced by Taoist philosophy and the Chinese 5 element system, so you’ll also learn which organs are affected by each posture and what that means for your overall health. The studio will be gently heated, and we’ll spend some time in each pose, so all levels of practitioner are welcome.
