NICOLE EKIN

Co-Founder/Instructor

Local wife and mom with a passion for yoga. I moved to Kitsap in 1996 from a little town called Los Angeles with a thirst for life less concrete  and harried, and a zest for adventure. I have been a yogi for almost as long as I have been a Washingtonian- and wish I had discovered it sooner let me tell you.
My dedication to yoga as a lifestyle really took hold  when I was failing at life-  working an impossible job as Charge Nurse in the ER, mom of 3 little kids  and going through some major and hard life changes. Yoga kept me grounded and healthy in ways I will forever be grateful for.  When I am not on the mat, I love to spend my time with my family, traveling locally and abroad, creating deliciousness in the kitchen, reading whatever I can devour, painting with acrylics, gardening and living sustainably, listening to live music, and trying to create a healthier and authentic life  for all around me.

I can honestly say, that while I have revived many in the Emergency Room, being a yoga instructor is where I have really helped heal people. The old adage says, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. In my experience, that is SO true!!

My classes are hot and challenging- infused with positivity and some upbeat jams. Bring your cross fit friends, your iron-man loving neighbor, your spouse that thinks yoga is only for women. Come check us out- flexibility not required.

DANIELLE ARIAS

Instructor/ studio manager

A recent transplant to the Kitsap Pennisula by way of Seattle, Danielle found yoga to be instrumental in her longevity as a public school teacher.  The practice gave her such a vitality for life, and ability to pause and respond rather than react in the classroom.  Not wanting to keep all of the benefits to herself, she decided to bring meditation, and then pranayama and asana to her students in school, starting first with her mentor group and then building out a yoga club, and later a class in the school.  She then fully immersed herself in yoga teaching and pursued her 200hr training at Yoga Vida NYC.  When not at the studio, Danielle joyfully unschools her kiddos, teaches outdoor nature immersion classes for children and is blessed to walk with others in their health journey as a holistic health coach.

ANGIE CAPILLI

Always amused by the absolute brilliance in an ever-evolving yoga practice, I am amazed that I've been practicing for over 20 years and teaching for nearly half of that. A lover of travel, I've also integrated yoga into my adventures to places both near and far; attending many retreats and workshops in addition to my 200+ hour Vinyasa Yoga Foundation Training in Los Angeles. I am intrigued by the transformations people experience on both a physical and spiritual level as they venture through this powerful and intelligent journey. In yoga, I tend to focus on belonging to a community of  living, laughing, and receptive seekers who come prepared to experience and grow. I extract as many of the benefits of yoga as I can into my professional life as a middle school educator and my personal life as a parent of two fantastic children and as a wife to a fellow yogi.

ERIN QUINN

A native upstate NY-er, Erin moved to Kitsap 8 years ago and has found home here amongst the mountains, sea, and trees. A long time trauma-informed educator, she found the practice of yoga to be an incredible way to ground and heal as she helped children do the same. Originally studying to teach kiddos, she went on to study in Bali at Blooming Lotus Yoga under the guidance of Lily Goncalves receiving a 200 HR yoga and 100 HR meditation certification. She also completed another 200 HR throughout the pandemic with Authentic Movements, which inspired many of the creative flows she incorporates into her vinyasa classes. Erin was drawn to the healing vibrations of sound through a mentor and friend, and has fallen in love with sharing the magic of sound baths with others. A school counselor now, Erin incorporates yoga, breath work, sound healing, journaling, and somatic healing into the work she does both on and off of the mat. Whether you join her for Yin, Hot Vinyasa, or a workshop expect to leave feeling recharged, empowered, and reminded of your own ability to grow and heal. She’s beyond grateful to work in a community where she can learn and grow alongside her very inspiring co-workers.

DONNA BOSH

Raised in Kitsap, wife, mother of three, business owner and fitness enthusiast with 28+ years teaching group exercise.

A combination of fortunate circumstances, adventure, meaningful relationships and love for the outdoors, led me to experience yoga for the first time while living and recreating in Mammoth Lakes California. 24 years young at the time Yoga became a staple. As I began to feel the transformation yoga had given me, I felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. I earned my teaching certification through Yoga fit in 2000, specializing in Hatha and Vinyasa. I create a fun and safe, non-competitive space for students to dive beneath the surface of their daily lives to find deeper meaning and inspiration.  A long time Kitsap County local, I am honored to be a part of this beautiful new space and more importantly help to bring balance, awareness, health, and happiness into other's lives I hope students leave class feeling refreshed, strengthened, inspired and sweaty!
