Open Leg Arm Balances: w/ Danielle Arias , Saturday April 19th 11:00AM-12:45PM

Did you know that inversions and arm balances are more about mindset, physics, strategy and stacking than they are about physical strength?

In this immersive workshop series you will learn how to trust yourself, release blockages and find your tipping point to invert.

Expect a strategic warmup, to understand the fundamentals of inversion and mechanics of each pose, and how to stack your bones so that you can trust yourself to get upside down with joy!

This workshop will focus on open leg arm balances: Astavakrasana (Eight Angle Pose), Flying Lizard, Eka Pada Koundinyasana B (Hurdler's Pose), Tittibhasana (Firefly), and Two Handed Croc.

Sign up for one or all of the 3 arm balance series!

GlowFlow- with Laura Genton, Sunday 4/20, 7-8:30PM

Connect to the playful side of your practice in a community of like minded individuals where we explore embodiment through the age old fusion of cannabis and yoga.

Colorful lighting and an eclectic playlist set the vibes to high!

We recommend popping an edible about 1 hour before, bring plenty of hydration, prepare for some sweat and plan ahead for a safe ride home. There is no smoking in the studio, and some familiarity with yoga is recommended, as alignment cueing will be minimal.

Yoga in the Forest w/ Danielle Arias, Saturday April 26th 10:00AM

Join us for yoga in the forest – a one-hour vinyasa flow yoga guided by local yoga instructor Danielle Arias, from 36om Studio in Silverdale.

We will be practicing in a covered, open-air space in Hidden Valley, the forested headwaters of Chico Creek.  Bring plenty of layers, a yoga mat, towel, and water.

A guided forest meditation walk will follow. We will walk approximately one mile (round trip) from the Pavilion to Big Tree, the largest Douglas fir in Kitsap County.

The route down to the Pavilion is steep and uneven, so wear hiking shoes with good traction.

The event is free but space is limited to the first 30 that sign up. Please see below for the sign up.

 ***Recommended for ages 13+.

We hope you’ll consider a donation to Keta Legacy Foundation to support the conservation and education activities in this special place.

Free.
