Workshops + Happenings

MOVING with the MOON: Friday November 15th + 29th 7:00-8:30PM

Join Erin Quinn & Gonca Tabanli for Moving with the Moon: a workshop duo exploring the power of utilizing the moon’s energy to connect with your highest self.

The first workshop will be on the full beaver moon and the second on the second November new moon, allowing us to explore the magic of working with these unique energies to look inward amongst likeminded and supportive community.

In each of the workshops you can expect a juicy and challenging hot vinyasa flow, reflective meditations in alignment with the full and new moon, intention setting, and a reiki-infused sound bath to help release energy that no longer serves.

Yoga for Teens

Introducing our new Yoga for Teens 6-weeks class series on Sundays at 12pm. This class series will include themes geared towards life as an adolescent, movement, grounding practices, journaling, and an opportunity to connect with peers. If you have struggled with anxiety, depression, stress or low self-esteem, or are just curious about Yoga, this class is for you! Come prepared to move, breathe, rest, and deepen your friendship with yourself. This class is open to all genders.

EVERYbody yoga:

This is a class created in response to requests and feedback from the community. In keeping with our values of accessibility and inclusivity, we have created an additional class offering where accessibility is the cornerstone. This class, like yoga, is for anybody and EVERYbody.

Yoga for EVERYBody is a non-heated yoga class in which cueing, poses and class themes will be geared directly towards the experiences of inhabiting and practicing in a larger body, as well as towards a wider range of flexibility and mobility. Props will be provided, including chairs. We will take up space, practice at our own pace and build community.

This class is taught by Crissy Anderson, RYT.

Crissy is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a yoga teacher, having completed her 200-hour YTT at 36Om. In her private practice, Crissy works with adolescents, adults and families and specializes in eating disorders. Crissy initially found Yoga as a practice to reduce burnout, and over the years has come to deeply appreciate the multitude of ways in which it supports vitality, wellbeing, and embodiment. It is a dream come true to now be able to integrate a therapy background/practice with Yoga and offer this at 36Om.
